Introducing the newest member of our little family…Dashiell aka Dash. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and we love him. Once you see the face, you’ll understand.
Since we have a tradition of naming our animals after movie characters, we had to come up with a very fitting name for a Corgi. We had a few good dog names picked out, but that was before we thought about adopting a Corgi. Corgis are a very unique breed and require a very unique name. So Jules from Pulp Fiction may have been perfect for a Bullmastiff or even German Shepherd, but it gives off the wrong vibe for a Corgi.
There are only a few people named Dashiell or even Dash in the world and only one movie character – the fastest boy ever created by Pixar. So seemed appropriate.
Anyway, onto the cuteness. These are some pictures from his very first few days home.
