Springtime strolls

April 23, 2012 by Kara 1 Comment

Spring has been here for awhile now, so I wanted to share some of it with you. I love this time of year. Everything comes out of hibernation, turns a bright brilliant shade of green. Flowers come to life. Dogwood trees start to bloom. The air smells sweet, fresh and clean, but still crisp.

Our Corgi boy loves to take a W-A-L-K in the afternoons when we get home. He gets really depressed if it’s too cold or rainy out. We usually stroll the greenway around our neighborhood and it is filled with gardens in bloom.

Some of these were taken with my iPhone and some with my Nikon…

And for your enjoyment, here are two pictures of a giant moth.      Fuzzy little guy. A little creepy. Make me think of creatures from a prehistoric era.

What is your favorite part about springtime?

That is one seriously furry moth. My favorite part about springtime is everything getting green and lush again! Every year I forget how the world looks when its green compared to the bare branches during winter.
