Avast ye mateys! Wait…no, we already had our pirate day in Saint Thomas. Sorry, let me try again… Hola mis amigos! Bienvenidos a San Juan! We’ll keep this one short and sweet on the verbage. So, along our day-long journey we stopped at both of the historic forts.
First up is Castillo San Felipe del Morro
Like all tourists, we had to stop at some point and MAP IT OUT
Travelling between floors was easy and top-secret with the triangular staircases hidden inside the turrets. G-e-n-i-u-s

Quite simply: Amazing.
After the first fort, we made our way down Bulevar del Valle (the road that runs along the north border of the island) towards the 2nd Fort. The views along the way were nice.

This one wasn’t near as interesting at the other Fort, however, it offered some stunning views of San Juan and OLD San Juan.
