Onto our first stop – the National Museum of Natural History. Everybody loves a little nature.
Now for a respite from all the kiddos and because the rain had “let up,” we decided to take our chance and walk the Mall down to the monuments. Yeah, big mistake, HUGE Mistake. So much for that break in the weather. We were able to snap a few in the dry on our way to Washington:
Somebody was a little grumpy gills thanks to all the rain.
And I leave you there with an idea of our next stop for the day. Just too many things packed into one day for one blog. We did a lot of walking. In fact, I bought a new pair of Clarks’ at the mall on Thursday in anticipation.
