2cupsshredded light Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
1/2cuplean diced ham
1/3cupgreen onionchopped
1 ½Tbsppickled jalapenodiced (if you cannot find this use raw)
1tspworschestire sauce
1whole wheat baguette
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Heat over medium stirring regularly until cheese has melted. Pour into oven safe dish. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until bubbling. Serve hot with whole wheat baguette slices or crackers or pretzel crisps.
In the meantime, slice the baguette on a bias into ¼ inch pieces. Spread in an even layer on a baking sheet. Toast in a 300-350 degree oven for 5-10 minutes per side until crisp, but not browned. Serve alongside the dip.
